金属矿床化学采样的目的,是采取矿石或圍岩的一小部份,通過矿样的化驗,决定矿石中的主要金屬含量及其他有益有害成份的含量,藉以圈定矿体可采范圍,用以计算储量及开采中矿石损失和贫化的根据,掌握矿体組份間互相变化规律及其关系。因之系統而正确的采取各种化学矿样是普查及勘探过程中必要工作之一。过去对这一方面,虽然也做了一些试验,但因加工方法与具体情况各有不同,故結論不一。笔者仅就中南鎢锡矿床的化学采样加工工作提出初步体会,供大家参考指正。
