当前,我国中小学教育正处于由应试教育转向素质教育的过渡期,而美术教育所具有的增长知识、开阔眼界、陶冶情操、塑造性格等作用,使其已经成为德、智、体、美教育的重要组成部分,使得素质教育离不开美术教育。但是,受思维、观念等因素的制约,很多学生乃至学生家长对非主科科目存在偏见,导致美术教育在中小学教学中难以有效的开展。由于中小学学生的美术知识较为单纯浅薄,美术教师既要给他们讲解更多的美术知识,还要让学生吸收审美观点,任务相当艰巨。所以,这个时候我们必须要有一个行之有效的手段,一个很好的教学方法,一个可以更好“推广”美术的办法——赏识教育。
