海外华人的历史是中华民族历史的一部分,也是世界文明史的一部分。在学术界,有华侨与华人之分,本文在讨论中没有严格地依照国籍而界定华侨与华人,而是宏观地对在海外发展并认同中华文化、具有中国人血统的华人的历史,以及与寻根而相关联的文化现象进行简要研究,并放在世界文明发展的大格局中进行分析,以期引起学界的关注与思考。
The history of overseas Chinese is part of the history of the Chinese nation and part of the history of world civilization. In academia, there are overseas Chinese and Chinese people. In this discussion, we do not define overseas Chinese and Chinese strictly in accordance with nationality. Instead, we macroscopically study the history of overseas Chinese who have developed Chinese culture and are of Chinese descent. Roots and related cultural phenomenon to conduct a brief study and put it in the general framework of the development of world civilization for analysis in order to arouse the academic concern and reflection.
