Charlotte Brontёand Emily Brontёwere two important writers in the 19th century. In their masterpieces Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, the two authors created two classic female images-Jane Eyre and Catherine Earnshaw. Though the Brontёsisters had similar life experience and living circumstances, the two images which are created by them still have many differences in their understanding and attitudes towards social status and love.
