For more than three decades, Lewis Klahr has been one of America’s most prolific and most original avant-garde film and video artists. So far, he has created more than 75 works. His work has repeatedly appeared in the New York Film Festival vision, starting from the avant-garde exhibition, Kral has participated in the Whitney Biennial (1991,1995,2006) and the Rotterdam International Film Festival three times; in 2010 in Columbus, Ohio Knox Arts Center, held a retrospective of his work. On March 8 and 9, 2013, the New York Museum of Moving Image will exhibit a large number of his figures
