实施天然林保护工程后,新疆特克斯林场跟许多其他国有林场一样,一部分职工变成了富余人员。面对突如其来的林业产业政策的调整,一些职工毫无思想准备。在新形势下,特克斯林场肩负起了大力发展林业第三产业的重任。林场充分利用自身特点,依托林区自然资源和人文资源优势,以森林旅游业、人文旅游业、畜牧养殖业、种植业为突破口,引进现代企业制度管理,实行富余职工合理分流,大力打造林业后续产业,提高林业经济效益,促进了林业第三产业的快速发展。
