地洼学说奖励基金,是中国科学院学部委员、国际地质科学联合会矿床大地构造委员会副主席、我国著名地质学家、地洼学说的创立者陈国达教授于1983年倡导设立的。该奖励基金主要用以奖励在地洼学说理论上有较大发展,或运用该学说在生产中作出较大成绩的个人或集体,从一个方面促进我国大地构造及成矿学的发展,并使该理论不断深化和提高,更好地为国民经济服务。其基金来源主要是陈教授历年来所获国家自然科学奖金及其他奖金等,同时接受有关单位或个人的赞助。

The award fund is mainly used to reward the development of diwa theory, or use the theory to make greater achievements in production of individuals or groups, from one aspect to promote the development of geotectonics and mineralogy in China, The theory is constantly deepened and improved to better serve the national economy. The sources of the funds are mainly the prizes of the National Natural Science Prize won by Professor Chen over the years and other bonuses, and are also sponsored by relevant units or individuals.
