称李伯安先生为中国的凡·高,可谓恰如其分。李伯安先生其人,和凡·高一样,把全部的生命都融入创作之中。其作品也与凡·高的作品一样宏伟博大,震撼人心。而他们的命运更是惊人地相似:生前默默无闻,死后名满天下。这在媒体高度发达的当代社会,真是绝无仅有。今年是李伯安先生去世十周年。本刊特别刊发两篇文章,以纪念这位一生漠视功名、不求闻达的艺术赤子。愿他的在天之灵安息,也祝愿他的作品早日走向世界。
It is fair to say that Mr. Li Boan is China’s Van Gogh. Like Mr. Van Gogh, the others, Mr. Li Bo’an, put all his life into his creation. His works are as magnificent as Van Gogh’s works, stirring people’s hearts. And their fate is even more strikingly similar: unknown before his death, after the death of all over the world. This is truly unique in today’s highly-developed media society. This year is the 10th anniversary of Mr. Li Bo’an’s death. In particular, the issue of two articles, in memory of this indifferent fame, do not ask for the arts of pure son. May his peace rest in the heavens, and wish his work go to the world as soon as possible.
