郑三3号系河南省农科院粮作所玉米室用郑单8号单交种作母本、齐302自交系作父本杂交而成的玉米三交种,具有制种产量和栽培产量高的特点。 双高玉米杂交种弥补了单交制种亲本自交系生活力弱、抗逆力差、产量低而不稳的缺点。郑三3号制种产量高而稳、成本低、价格便宜,便于种子部门计划安排和调剂种子余缺,符合制种、销种、用种三方利益,是解决玉米余缺的有效途径。
