钢铁工业是消耗能源的主要部门之一。1976年日本钢铁工业在能源总消耗量中占16.7%。近年来日本各钢铁企业对节能很重视,取得了较大效果,1978年全国平均吨钢综合能耗为5345×10~3千卡/吨(估计),比1973年下降约8%。日本轧钢环节占全国总能耗的2.5%左右,占钢铁工业能耗之20%左右⑨。以新日铁为例,各种轧机能耗分配情况如表1。
The steel industry is one of the major sectors that consume energy. In 1976, Japan’s steel industry accounted for 16.7% of the total energy consumption. In recent years, Japanese steel companies attach great importance to energy saving and have achieved great results. In 1978, the national average energy consumption per tonne of steel was 5345 × 10 ~ 3 kcal / tonne (estimated), down about 8% from 1973. Rolling links in Japan account for about 2.5% of the country’s total energy consumption, accounting for about 20% of steel industry energy consumption ⑨. Take Nippon Steel as an example, the energy consumption distribution of various rolling mills is shown in Table 1.
