刊不刊载内容提要,看来似乎是小事一件。但是出版社却没有注意到:你们省略了它,会给读者和宣传推广者带来多大不便!举例说,人民出版社出版的“我们的意见分歧”(普列汉诺夫著)一书,就没有内容提要或其他说明文字,一般读者是不容易了解这是一本什么书的。作家出版社1956年1月出版的、厚达300余面的译作“征服者的贝莱”(第一卷),既没有内容提要也没有其他足以说明该书内容的文字。这样一本厚书,又是还未结束的“第一卷”,又如何不使读者和宣传推广者感到困惑呢?上海人民美术
