今年3月5日是毛泽东等老一辈无产阶级革命家为雷锋题词30周年纪念日。几十年来,雷锋精神鼓舞和激励了亿万人民群众为社会主义建设事业勤奋工作,忘我奉献。学雷锋活动已经成为广大教师和少先队员积极参与社会主义精神文明建设的一种自觉行动。目前,各地学校正在采取多种形式集中开展纪念活动:召开纪念会、班队先进事迹报告会、文艺演出、专题展览等,用丰富多彩的形式吸引教师和少先队员们的广泛参与,形成学雷锋、学先进的舆论氛围。与此相配合,我们特地刊登本文,向读者介绍镇江市航运小学十年如一日,在少先队员中开展学雷锋活动并取得显著成绩的事迹。他们开展学雷锋活动,不刮一阵风,不搞形式主义,而是注重实效,努力培养全面发展的“小雷锋”。这个经验,值得学习。我们希望各地学校都能结合开展纪念活动,认真总结30年来学雷锋活动的经验和规律,将在少先队员中开展的学雷锋活动与贯彻实施《江苏省小学生素质基本要求》结合起来;将在教师中开展的学雷锋活动与加强教师基本功训练、提高教师素质结合起来,使雷锋精神在建设高质量的江苏小学教育事业中更加发扬光大。
