笔者作为试办全国首批大学编辑专业的成员,曾在1988年第4期的《编辑学刊》上发表了《大学编辑专业教学初探》一文,涉及了这个新专业产生的必然性、发展方向、教学安排、师资培养、教材建设等系列问题。文章刊出之后,引起了同仁及出版界的一点回音。在收到的不少来信中,对大学创办编辑专业的教学理论与实践,给予了足够的肯定与重视,同时,也对办学中的某些问题进行了进一步的探讨。可是,在这个专业度过了最艰难的摸索阶段之后,却又发生了不小的波澜。笔者很觉有必要再次谈到出版教育的问题,供出版 The author, as one of the first editors in the nation to run a college editing profession, published a paper titled “A Preliminary Probe into the Teaching of University Editing Professionals” in the 4th ed.
