川北之洲生毓秀,嘉陵江畔育苍溪。苍溪位于四川盆地北缘,嘉陵江中游,古称秦陇锁阴,蜀北屏藩。置县于西晋太康年间,迄今已有1700多年历史。产生了谯玄、王樾、王佐等知名历史人物,杜甫、陆游曾在此留下诗篇。第二次国内革命战争时期,苍溪是川陕革命根据地的重要组成部分,全县有3万多优秀儿女参加红军,孕育了罗青长、苏毅然、李泽民等6位中央委员和任荣、吴忠、李开湘等17位将军。1985年苍溪
