According to a study by Scientia Horticulturae (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.scienta.2015.04.009), Hao Xue et al from Shenyang Agricultural University studied the effects of diploid and homologous Salt tolerance of ploidy apple seedlings. Researchers obtained the autotetraploid plants of Hanfu and Gala apple by colchicine treatment of leaves. The diploid and autotetraploid plants showed significant differences in the morphology of the leaves. The researchers used sodium chloride 200 mmo L / L for diploid and autotetraploid plants
