糖尿病是老年人的常见病和多发病,且并发症较多,严重影响着老年人的生活质量和寿命。众所周知,饮食治疗是糖尿病控制的基本措施,约有30%的老年患者,单纯饮食控制的营养治疗即可控制病情。但是,老年糖尿病患者有其特殊的生理、病理特点,其饮食控制与中年人也不完全相同。如糖尿病饮食控制原则中指出,蛋白质摄入量按每公斤体重1克供给。但是,老年人蛋白质丢失较中年人明显增多,且消化功能减弱,对各种营养素的吸收差,严格的饮食控制 Diabetes mellitus is a common and frequently-occurring disease in the elderly with more complications, which seriously affect the quality of life and life expectancy of the elderly.
