目的:探讨食管癌和癌前病变组织中分化抑制因子(Id)1蛋白的表达特征及其生物学意义。方法:65例食管癌及相应的癌旁组织均来自河南林州市及其周围地区食管癌患者手术切除标本,癌旁组织中34例为基底细胞增生(BCH),28例为不典型增生(DYS),13例为正常上皮组织,15例为原位癌(CIS)。65例癌组织全部为鳞状细胞癌(SCC)。采用免疫组织化学ABC法检测各标本Id1蛋白的表达情况。结果:正常食管上皮组织中Id1蛋白无表达,在BCH、DYS、CIS及SCC组织中的阳性表达率分别为29%、46%、60%和63%,依次升高(P<0.05)。Id1蛋白的表达与SCC组织的分化程度、浸润深度、淋巴结转移有关(P均<0.05)。结论:Id1蛋白表达变化是食管癌和癌前病变组织中常见的分子事件,可能在食管鳞癌癌变过程中起一定作用。
Objective: To investigate the expression and biological significance of differentiation inhibitor (Id) 1 protein in esophageal carcinoma and precancerous lesions. Methods: Totally 65 cases of esophageal cancer and its corresponding paracancerous tissues were collected from surgical resection of esophageal cancer in Linzhou City, Henan Province and its surroundings. 34 cases of basal cell hyperplasia (BCH) and 28 cases of atypical hyperplasia DYS), 13 cases of normal epithelium, 15 cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS). All 65 cases of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Immunohistochemical ABC method was used to detect the expression of Id1 protein in each specimen. Results: The positive expression rates of Id1 protein in normal esophageal epithelial tissues were 29%, 46%, 60% and 63% respectively in BCH, DYS, CIS and SCC tissues (P <0.05). The expression of Id1 protein was correlated with the degree of differentiation, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis (all P <0.05). Conclusion: The change of Id1 protein expression is a common molecular event in esophageal and precancerous lesions, which may play a role in the carcinogenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
