1984年春,淮阳县西关金楼村农民侯占阳,在取土时挖出铜贝296枚。铜贝均是扁平体,椭圆形,大小不一,这说明是由几套钱范铸造而成的,每枚重2.2—3.8克不等。经过去锈整理,这些铜贝根据铭文特征大体有四式,各举两例介绍如下:Ⅰ式铸阴文“(?)”字的23枚,长1.8、宽0.7厘米(图一,1)。Ⅱ式铸“(?)”字的270枚,大者长1.9、宽0.7厘米,小者长1.6、宽0.5厘米。Ⅰ、Ⅱ式铜贝虽有孔,但孔未打穿,大多边缘未加工磨
In the spring of 1984, Hou Zhanyang, a peasant of the Golden Village in the west of Huaiyang County, dug out 296 copper shells while taking earth. Copper shell are flat, oval, different sizes, which shows that several sets of money from the cast, each weighing 2.2-3.8 grams. After going to rust finishing, these bronze inscriptions generally have four types according to inscriptions, each two cases are introduced as follows: Ⅰ type casting Yin text “(?) ” 23 characters, length 1.8, width 0.7 cm ). Ⅱ Casting “(?) ” 270 characters, the largest 1.9, 0.7 cm wide, small length 1.6, width 0.5 cm.
