E-mail是Internet中最重要和常用的服务之一。随着上网用户的不断增多,相当一部分邮件服务器系统无论从可扩展性还是稳定性等方面都已无法满足日益增长的需求,难以承受大用户量的访问,市场对高性能邮件服务器的需求越来越大。基于以上的考虑,本文设计并实现了一个多主机的邮件服务器系统。通过对注册用户的动态分配,增加了系统的灵活性、可扩展性和效率。通过分散存储的方法,增加了系统的I/O处理能力,实现了邮件服务器的POP3、SMTP协议。
