1958年11月,河北石家庄市钢铁厂,在小高爐上采用东焦红矿冶炼,該矿特点:含铁低,会SiO_2高,因而耗用石灰石数量在50%以上,这样就造成产量低,生铁含硫高(由过去的0.3%以下增加到0.3%左右)。針对着这种情况,该厂于去年11月至今年2月中旬采用生石灰代替石灰石作熔剂进行試驗。試驗証明,产量可以提高30%左右,生铁含硫大大降低。一、試驗經过 (一) 根据石灰石在爐內燃烧的过程,其化学反应为:CaCO_3→CaO+CO↑
