1997年是晶体管发明50周年。半个世纪以来以晶体管的发明为契机,揭起了微电子科技的蓬勃发展时期,出现了信息时代,人们时常称之为近代继蒸气动力技术革命和电力技术革命之后的第三次技术革命。这次新技术革命不论从影响的范围还是发展的深度与速度来看,都是前两次技术革命所无法比拟的。鉴于它的重要意义,我国的9个有关学会和贝尔实验室在北京联合召开了纪念晶体管发明50周年的大会,其规模之大在我国是少有的。尽管晶体管已经应用到几乎所有的工业部门,并且已经家喻户晓,但是关于它的发明情况、过程,甚至发明的准确日期还存在一些模糊的甚至错误的认识,有必要认真重新考察,予以澄清和说明。
1997 is the fiftieth anniversary of transistor invention. Half a century to the invention of the transistor as an opportunity to lift the era of vigorous development of microelectronics technology, there has been the information age, people often call it the third generation after the steam power technology revolution and power technology revolution in the modern third technological revolution. This new technological revolution, both in terms of its scope of influence and its depth and speed of development, is unmatched by the previous two technological revolutions. In view of its significance, nine Chinese related societies and Bell Laboratories jointly held a conference in Beijing to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the invention of transistors. The size of the conference is rare in our country. Although transistors have been used in almost all industrial sectors and are well-known, there are some vague or even false understandings about the invention, the process, and even the exact date of invention. It is necessary to carefully review, clarify and explain.
