地质矿产部海洋地质研究所自1979年上级批准恢复以来,在前几年筹备的基础上,经过全所职工的努力,现在科研、实验及生活等设施已基本建成.现有职工234人,其中工程师以上专业技术干部91人.设有海洋沉积、构造地质、石油地质、地球物理、科技情报五个研究室及实验室.地质矿产部区域第四纪地质中心也设在这里.我国著名的海洋地质学家、中国科学院学部委员业治铮教授为第一任所长.建所以来先后与海洋地质调查局合作开展了冲绳海槽地质调查,与南海地质调查指挥部合作编制《南海及周缘地质-地球物理图集》,我所负责编制重力均衡异常图和△T剖面平面图.联合开展珠江口三角洲全新世沉积特征和沉积模式的研究.
Since 1979, the Institute of Marine Geology, Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources has approved the restoration since its establishment in 1979. Based on the previous preparations and the efforts of all the staff and workers, the research, experiment and living facilities have now been basically completed. There are 234 staff members in the Institute of Marine Geology, Engineers and above professional and technical cadres 91.
