10月18日 据报道,中国欧盟商会发布了2004年度《欧盟企业在中国建议书》。该商会向500家会员企业发放问卷,90％的欧盟企业对其在中国业务持“乐观”或“谨慎乐观”的态度,并表示在中国的投资是长期的战略。当天,欧盟委员会在北京宣布,对中国解除虾、养殖鱼类.蜂蜜、蜂王浆、鱼肉和其他一部分食品向欧盟出口的禁令,中国从即日起可以向欧盟出口上述产品。同一天,美国芝加哥期权交易所推出中国指数期货,这是首只在美国上市针对中国内地市场的期货合约。从此,美国投资者可借此投资中国市场。
