I am a pianist of China Railway Art Work Ensemble. Piano teaching for 22 years. In January 2000, under the strong support of the leaders of China Railway Gerontology University, a new teaching position was opened up, namely the Piano Class for the Elderly. There are 13,400 older colleges and universities in the country that run the piano classes for the aged. This is the first case. After nearly nine months of study, 15 older students attended the first piano learning briefing on October 20. Report will be divided into basic exercises, solo, concerto and four hands linked four major parts, basically reached the due teaching effect. From teaching three-year-olds and four-year-olds to teaching the average age of a person aged 66 and the longest being 80, it is really a new attempt for me. Summarize the teaching experience in this paragraph, summed up in that there are five differences and one similar point compared with children’s teaching.
