导言结构隔震,作为地震工程的一个新领域,正在受到各国专家们的重视,有关的研究工作及工程实践正在蓬蓬勃勃地开展。美国地震工程学会已经成立了专门的结构隔震分会。最近,美国南加州和北加州还分别拟订了有关结构隔震的工程设计条例草案,以推动结构隔震的研究和实施。日本也在进行相应的条例研究工作。据不完全统计,目前个世界已开展结构隔震研究及工程试点的国家约有25个。中国也是开展此项研究工作较早的国家之一。可以预见,结构隔震具有强大的生命力和美好的前景。
Introduction Structural isolation, as a new field of seismic engineering, is being valued by experts from various countries, and related research work and engineering practice are being carried out vigorously. The American Earthquake Engineering Society has set up a special structural earthquake isolation branch. Recently, Southern California and Northern California have separately drafted engineering design bills on structural isolation to promote the research and implementation of structural isolation. Japan is also conducting corresponding regulations research work. According to incomplete statistics, there are about 25 countries in the world that have already conducted structural isolation studies and engineering pilot projects. China is also one of the countries that started this research earlier. It can be foreseen that the structural isolation has a strong vitality and beautiful prospects.
