多媒体技术的蓬勃发展和微处理芯片处理能力的极大提高,使桌面视频会议系统成为热门的服务项目。多媒体远程监控系统作为桌面视频会议系统的功能扩展,正在银行、超市、智能办公大楼等场所得到越来越广泛的应用。本文在总结了多年开发多媒体远程监控系统的实际经验基础上,提出了一个符合国际标准的、独立于网络传输协议和媒介的多媒体远程监控系统抽象模型。该模型可作为多媒体远程监控系统的功能设计规范。最后本文对用MicrosoftNetMeeting 2.0实现该模型的可行性进行了讨论。
The rapid development of multimedia technology and the tremendous improvement of micro-processing chip processing capability make desktop video conferencing system a popular service. As a functional extension of the desktop video conferencing system, the multimedia remote monitoring system is being applied more and more widely in banks, supermarkets and smart office buildings. Based on the practical experience of developing multimedia remote monitoring system over many years, this paper proposes an abstract model of multimedia remote monitoring system which is independent of network transmission protocol and medium. The model can be used as a multimedia remote monitoring system design specifications. Finally, this article discusses the feasibility of implementing this model with Microsoft NetMeeting 2.0.
