从中央美术学院本科的毕业那年,毕业创作《桥梁》获得冈松家族艺术基金奖,并被中央美院陈列馆收藏,时在1997年,锋芒初显的吴啸海年仅25岁。两年后的作品《在书中》再次赢得了行内专家的一致肯定,国家新闻出版署美术作品优秀奖为这个年轻人带来了大范围的赞誉。这件作品展现了吴啸海坚实的绘画基本功和天马行空的想象力,他对画面的控制能力极强,对于场景和人物的独特造型,令观者陷入无尽的想象空间。2003年,吴啸海在中央美术学院壁画系硕士毕业后,以优异的成绩留校任教。之后,他的作品不断出现在国内外的展览项目中:
Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts that year, graduation “Bridge” won the Goldsmith Family Arts Fund Award, and was collected by the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum, when in 1997, the edge of the emerging Wu Xiaochai only 25 years old. Two years later, his work “In the Book” won the unanimous affirmation of experts in the industry again. The State Press and Publication Administration’s Award for Fine Works of Fine Arts has given the young man a wide range of acclaim.
