关于两汉妇女的贞节问题,学术界向来有两种截然不同的看法:一种认为两汉注重妇女贞节,以李甲孚的《中国古代的妇女生活》为代表;另一种认为两汉不注重妇女贞节,以张亮采的《中国风俗史》、陈东原的《中国妇女生活史》、吴景超的《两汉寡妇再嫁之俗》为代表.考诸两汉史实后发现,二者既有其合理之点,又有其偏颇之处.本文试作一辨析.
