大厂回族自治县城关镇三村赵万富,全家四口人,三中全会以前,一家人苦奔苦曳,每年还欠队上三、四百元,一年粮食半年吃,名曰“万富”,其实连“一富”也没有。三中全会以后,党的富民政策敲开了赵万富致富的大门,他重操回民养牛老本行。1982年养菜牛(即北方牧区来的牛)十一头,纯收入1200元。1983年转养肉牛(即优种改良牛)十头,奶牛三头,当年十头肉牛全都出栏,纯收入2200元。1984年上半年养奶牛5头,出栏小肉牛6头,卖奶10000斤,收入4680元。赵万富养牛致富,主要有三手。
