我院深刻领会社会主义核心价值观的内涵,以中国传统文化之精髓融合当代学生之实际,把传统理念与现代理念、文化要素与知识要素相统一,开展了“孝、宽、诚、责、毅”五字文化教育。从系统整合入手,搭建课内外教育平台,实践教育平台和运用新媒体平台,形成浓郁的“五字”文化氛围,合力培育学生核心价值品质,使其成为正德学生的价值认同、行为准则和人格标签。“五字”文化已成为我院的一个文化品牌和正德学生的文化名片。五字文化教育探索的成果,先后荣获江苏省高等教育学会高校学生教育管理“创新奖”二等奖,省高校思想政治研究会高职高专分会第二届思想政治教育“实践创新奖”二等奖。
