华裔美国作家的唐人街叙事可以追溯到19世纪末。目前的研究成果表明,针对华裔美国作家的具体作品研究方面取得了一些成果,然而,从作家群的角度进行总体研究以及从唐人街叙事的角度重估作品的文学价值与人文内涵,仍十分匮乏。本文通过文献研究,系统梳理了华裔美国作家从19世纪末至21世纪初书写唐人街叙事的发展演变轨迹以及宏观特征和趋势,为华裔美国文学研究提供新视角与新思路。
Chinese American writer Chinatown narrative dates back to the late 19th century. The present research shows that some achievements have been made in the study of the specific works of Chinese-American writers. However, it is still scarce to conduct a general study from the perspective of writers and to revalue the literary value and cultural connotation of the works from the perspective of Chinatown narrative. Through literature research, this thesis systematically reviews the development, evolution and macroeconomic characteristics and trends of Chinese American writers writing Chinatown narrative from the late 19th century to the early 21st century, providing a new perspective and new ideas for Chinese American literature research.
