合理施肥是进一步提高玉米产量,增加经济收益的重要措施,而了解玉米对主要营养元素的需要规律又是合理施肥的重要依据。玉米对营养元素的需要,各国学者已进行了大量的工作。Hanway等于六十年代初在不同土壤肥力条件下对玉米的不同生育阶段吸收氮、磷、钾的规律及在各器官的分布做了系统的研究;田中、石塚等从六十年代中期开始对玉米吸收营养元素的规律及其与环境、栽培等条件的关系进行了全面的研究。
