5652支队在战备、训练和野营等任务紧张、驻地常变换和环境卫生条件较差的不利情况下,由于党委的坚强领导,发动了群众,搞好了除害灭病运动,1959年取得了1-11月没有发生痢疾的成绩,(根据福州军区后勤卫生处报来材料)。这确是一个跃进,对保证部队任务的完成起到了积极的作用,也说明了痢疾是可以控制和消灭的。希望各部队参考该支队的先进经验,在党委的领导下,大力开展以防治痢疾和肝炎为中心的除害灭病运动,力争今年做出更显著的成绩来。
