目前栽培蘑菇主要是用牛粪做培养料。但在山区牛粪缺乏,可否用其它原料来做培养料呢?我们根据我县泥炭土资源多,而且它含有丰富的营养物质,就大胆地于一九七九年在浔中第六生产队与科研组同志一道进行以泥炭土作为蘑菇培养料的试验,共种60平方米,收鲜蘑菇850斤,平均每平方米收14.1斤,获得可喜的成果。一、泥炭土的处理:我县的泥炭土含腐植酸25～40％,黑色、疏松.要先把泥炭土晒干后,粉碎成粉末,收藏备用。二、培养料做法:本试验分三组:(一)全部用泥炭土做培养料。(二)牛屎稻草混合发酵料。(三)泥炭土与牛屎稻草发酵料各一半。
