本文基于CAE美国英语语料库中“tape”一词显示出的一词多义现象,对比了中国学习者英语语料库和中国学习者英语口语语料库中,学生对于此词的习得情况,发现中国学生在使用的频率,涉及的意义及搭配方面中表现出较明显的不足。其原因主要由于对词源的了解不够,进而使学习者在语码的吸收和整合过程中,总是停留在初始吸收阶段,却未能达到最终吸收。本文旨在通过分析,提醒广大学习者在掌握英语词汇时注意深入发掘词语的多种义项及各种义项之间的语义网络联系,突破词语的初始吸收,达到最终吸收。
Based on the polysemy of “tape ” in the CAE American English corpus, this article compares the acquisition of the Chinese learner English corpus with that of the Chinese learner in the English corpus, and finds that China Students showed more obvious deficiencies in terms of frequency of use, meaning and collocation involved. The reason is mainly due to the lack of understanding of the etymology, so that learners always stay in the initial absorption stage in the absorption and integration of the code, but fail to reach the final absorption. This article aims to remind learners to master the English vocabulary, pay attention to explore a variety of meaning items and semantic network between various senses, break through the initial absorption of words to achieve the ultimate absorption.
