角色游戏是幼儿通过扮演角色,运用想象,创造性地反应个人生活印象的一种游戏。《3-6岁儿童学习与发展指南》指出,教师应为幼儿提供游戏和自由交往的机会,鼓励他们自主选择游戏的区域、材料,自由地扮演各种角色,自由结伴开展活动。在具体的教育实践中,教师要保证游戏中有大量可玩性的材料,保证幼儿有大量的自主性游戏时间。幼儿通过摆弄游戏材料来将感觉变成主观的行动,把想法变成直观的形式,幼儿在与各种游戏材料的相互作用中,不断发展自己的认知能力、想象力和创造力。可见,幼儿与游戏材料的互动特点直接影响着教师如何投放游戏材料以及采取何种指导策略。
