The anti-noise law implemented by Switzerland in 1987 stipulated the maximum line noise of an existing railway. In the next 15 years, nearly 800km of the Swiss Federal Railways (about 20% of the total road network) will take anti-noise measures with a total investment of hundreds of millions of Swiss francs. The anti-noise of railway mainly takes measures from two aspects: one is to improve the structure of rolling stock and reduce the noise transmission; the other is to construct the vegetation soundproof wall and ordinary upright anti-noise wall on both sides of the line.
