本文总结了自1967年以来,利用小电流氩弧焊技术,对一些放射源,如α源、β源、γ源、低能光子源、中子源和同位素热源所进行的密封工艺研究。重点讨论了密封放射源的源壳设计原则和焊接规范选择,分析了导致焊缝缺陷产生的原因及其防止措施。最后还列出了质量控制的一些项目。十五年来的实践表明,利用钨极氩弧焊技术密封放射源具有操作简便、过程快速、密封可靠、剂量完全和易于远距离控制的优点。所获得的产品气密性好、耐高温、耐高压、耐腐蚀,并能确保源在长期使用过程中的安全性。
This article summarizes the research on the sealing process of some radioactive sources such as α source, β source, γ source, low energy photon source, neutron source and isotope heat source using low current argon arc welding technology since 1967. The source shell design principles and welding specifications of sealed radioactive sources were discussed. The causes of the weld defects and the preventive measures were analyzed. Finally, some items of quality control are listed. Fifteen years of practice have shown that the use of TIG welding technology to seal the radioactive source has the advantages of easy operation, fast process, reliable sealing, complete dosage and easy remote control. The resulting product is airtight, heat-resistant, pressure-resistant, corrosion-resistant and ensures the safety of the source during long-term use.
