The newly built electric railway locomotive owned by the Ramsar Locomotive Works recently produced the first electric drive diesel locomotive. Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Batutto paid a visit to the factory and congratulated the plant and announced the formal start-up of the plant. The plant’s design capacity is an annual output of 25 electric drive diesel locomotives. The Risalbu factory mainly consists of the following workshops and departments: body building and bogie assembly shop, electrical and
