Songwon Group announces a net profit of KRW 6.3 billion (US$5.47million) for the first Quarter of 2010.Sales were KRW124.37 billion(US$108.1 million),up 9%,compared to the fourth quarter 2009,driven again by a significant increase in sales volumes and a positiveprice development.Operating income is up about 10% also driven bysales volumes,price gains and a favorable product mix.Both resultshave been achieved despite significantly unfavorable effects of currencyand raw material prices.
