本研究调查背景知识和生词率对大学英语二语听力的影响,对其中涉及的听者的背景知识和二语词汇方面的相关研究也进行了探讨。结果表明,背景知识对大学英语听力理解有显著影响,而生词率影响的显著性要弱于背景知识因素,但是也呈显著意义,而背景知识和生词率的相关性较弱。这表明实验中中国学生会运用背景知识来帮助听力理解及生词词汇意义的推断。此处节选的是该调查报告的第一部分。
This study investigates the influence of background knowledge and word rate on L2 Listening Comprehension, and also discusses the background knowledge and L2 vocabulary of the involved listeners. The results show that the background knowledge has a significant impact on college English listening comprehension, but the significance of the birth rate is weaker than the background knowledge, but also significant, and the correlation between background knowledge and birth rate is weak. This indicates that in the experiment, Chinese students will use the background knowledge to help understand the meaning of listening comprehension and the vocabulary of seniors.
