The Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait held a press conference at the signing ceremony to show the achievements made in the Ninth Talks between the two sides of the Strait. Zheng Lizhong, executive vice president of ARATS, said that the signing of the agreement on cross-Strait trade in services mainly includes special arrangements for opening up the mainland market in a wide range and featuring cross-Strait characteristics and establishing the mechanism for cross-Strait trade in services.
