CZZ-700型凿岩台车在无底柱分段崩落采矿法中钻凿各种垂直中深孔得到广泛的应用。可是,它的推进力不够,尤其是在打10米以上的深孔,钻凿速度显著降低,打一根钎杆(1.1米)需要十多分钟,超过15米深的孔打不进去,影响了台效和深孔质量。该设备推进部分是采用丝杠推进装置,要求推力600~800公斤。原设计推进风马达为TM1B-1型,输出功率为1马力。实际上只有0.7~0.8马力左右,若是有磨损,间隙大或风压不足,输出功率更低。
