Tseng Ming Ming, Professor of Tsinghua University, a well-known expert in reinforced concrete structure engineering, member of Jiusan Society and honorary editor of “Journal of Building Structure”, died at 4:22 pm on May 22, 2008 at the age of 81. Professor Teng Zhiming was born on May 24, 1927 in Taixian, Jiangsu Province. He graduated with honors from Civil Engineering Department of Peking University in 1949 and participated in the railway corps to repair the Jing-Han Railway Project (1949.9-19.19
