On August 1, 1927, in Nanchang City, the revolutionary armed forces led by the Chinese Communists started the first shot to the Kuomintang reactionaries. As one of the major leaders of the Nanchang Uprising, Zhu De made a great contribution to the founding of our party’s armed forces .
