今年2月上、中旬,我随中央机关访问考察组赴贵州贫困地区调查。一路上所见所闻,感受很深,看到了改革给贫困地区带来的变化!改革确实增强了贫困地区的活力,使脱贫致富工作充满了希望!贵州省由于历史的、社会的、自然的和经济的多种原因,经济发展水平还不高,农村的贫困面比较大,脱贫致富的任务重,难度大。中央领导同志和中央机关各部门十分重视贵州面貌的改变。胡耀邦总书记自1983年以来,已先后两次深入贵州贫困山区考察,研究脱贫致富的对策,进行具体指导,有力地推动了贵州扶贫工作的开展。

Central leaders and departments of the central government attach great importance to the changing face of Guizhou. Since 1983, General Secretary Hu Yaobang has twice conducted in-depth visits to the impoverished mountainous areas in Guizhou Province to study countermeasures for getting rid of poverty and getting rich and specific guidance, which has effectively promoted the development of poverty alleviation in Guizhou.
