知识经济作为一种新型的经济型态，必将对以文学艺术为构成要素的文化产生全方位、多角度、多层次的影响．知识经济与文学艺术之间存在着明显的辩证互动关系：知识经济对文学艺术产生的影响是引起文学艺术的创作形式和传播方式的变化和拓展；其次，它必将对人们固有的审美观念、审美理想、审美好尚等产生强烈的冲击，从而促进整个社会审美鉴赏力的普及与提高；知识经济时代的文学艺术的作用与地位也将发生相应的变化；知识经济时代的文学艺术将有助于推进人类社会的民主化进程．
