民初,我国的高等美术教育大多集中在上海、北京等地,也由此在这些地方我国近代历史中高等美术教育获得较大的发展。本名录考便以上海美术这一时期的教学历程为线索进行挖掘整理。起因是1912年9月,国民政府教育部颁布学校会,对于专门学校的学制、科目等做了明确的规定,在此背景之下上海美术专科学校(以下简称“上海美专”)创立并得以蓬勃发展。
