7月16日至29日,金秋杂志社一行8人由总编李泉林带队赴青海、新疆采风考察。考察团所到之处,受到当地老干部局的热情接待。考察团的活动得到了各联办单位的高度重视和精心安排。考察团一行参观了当地老年大学和老干部活动中心,就“新时期如何做好老干部工作,边疆老干部如何安度晚年,老年公寓如何建立和发展,如何结合实际办好老年大学,《金秋》杂志如何更加适应社会、适合读者”等问题进行了热烈讨论和广泛交流,并对青海省、新疆维吾尔自治区、新疆生产建设兵团近两年来老干部工作的亮点、老干部和老干部工作者中的先进事迹和典型人物及屯垦戍边的老战士进行了采访。《金秋》杂志的发展壮大,离不开西北各联办单位长期的大力支持。这次采风考察不仅开阔了视野,
