延年、乔年:为革命事业牺牲陈独秀生有四子二女,长子延年乍于1898年,次子乔年生于1902年,兄弟俩从小就受到艰苦生活的磨练,日后都成长为响当当的革命家。兄弟俩曾一道留学法国、苏联。都是先加入法共,尔后转为中共。在短暂的革命生涯中,延年曾职至中共广东区委书记、江苏省委书记,并当选为中共中央政治局委员,为早期的红色风云人物,一度与赵世炎、周恩来齐名。延年在党的会议上与担任总书记的陈独秀见面,向来都是以“同志”称呼,公而废私,革命第一。
